I decided to try this place for lunch today. Having eaten their donuts previously, I knew they were legitimate bakers. The question was are they legitimate restauranteurs. Based on the lunch I had, I wholeheartedly believe they can fail at nothing. While a simple sandwich, their grilled smoked turkey was delicious. It may well be my favorite turkey sandwich. The bread is soft but sturdy, the turkey is smokey and satisfying, and the cheese, lettuce, and tomato were fresh. The vegetable soup was hearty and warming. I really like vegetable soups that don't skip over any vegetables like cabbage. For about $12, the whole experience was exceptional. The wait for service and food was well worth it....
First time here. Short wait in line to try and read a large, small print menu. Then, order at the counter and pick up drinks at the next counter. While waiting, I looked inside the take home cooler and decided to take home a bacon, spinach, cheese quiche! We ordered salads, which came with nice light French bread and butter. One was the strawberry chicken salad spinach and lettuce mix with a dip of cottage cheese in the middle and bite sized warm chicken chunks. I got the poppyseed dressing. Very good! My friend got the Cobb salad which she enjoyed. We sat at a 4 top table away from the windows. We picked up our quiches on the way out the door. They have outside dining later in the year. Ver...
My fiance took me here. She said that she use to come here many years before and never really tried the food. Just hung out with friends. Her food palette according to her was limited. Since we've gotten together she has become more adventurous with her food choices. So this visit was the first for her and me where we would be trying the food. I love sharing these moments with her. I ordered the chicken Philly, her a croissant turkey club. I have to say. The food was so tasty, so much flavor. The bread of my sandwich was so soft. The croissant was airy, buttery and soft. We also had the carrot cake. It was delicious. We will definitely eat here again. I had to take some desserts home.
Nice place with a very great staff, poor parking (out of their control). I got a few thing outside of a rainbow sugar cookie! The cookie was really good and the coffee was amazing. I got an ice coffee and the flavor was marvelous. The croissant I got was different, looked like a croissant but tasted like a flakey biscuit not as airy as the classic croissant. The fudge delight was probably my favorite bakery item I had? it was a coconut twist to a no bake cookie. They also had some frozen items that I will definitely be back for!!!
