We had breakfast at the furniture store restaurant today after the nearby baby swimming class. There was only one employee there, and she was running the place. Officially, it was due to a high level of sickness, but it seems to be that way quite often. Big compliments to the employee. She did a really good job, frying eggs, taking the cash, all in parallel. Sure, it takes a minute longer, but when you see how hard the employee tries, I really can't say anything bad about it. The breakfast, at under €5 per person, is very affordable these days. One of the employees was wearing gloves, which he was using to clean the shelves. I ordered a Caesar salad and asked for it to be seasoned. The employee who was cleaning the shelves came behind the counter and, with the dirty gloves, touched the meat and seasoned it by rubbing it with the gloves. Later, he went right to the counter where the tomatoes were chopped, reached in, took some tomatoes, and ate them. The employee didn't even notice that I was watching him the whole time. He went back to the shelves and continued cleaning with the gloves. I'd seen enough and confronted him! Disgusting!
Little choice and old rolls, and where are the staff? When you finally get your breakfast, there's no one at the checkout, so you have to wait again. It could be better if customers get a delicious breakfast, they'd definitely stay longer and buy something.
I've rarely eaten so badly. Even a fast-food place does it better, and they don't use frozen food.
