we went to my daughter's birthday and arrived shortly before 19.30 on a Thursday, it was quite quiet with just a few tables occupied. we ordered the meal deal, which was an appetizer, main course with rice and a drink for £8.30 that was nice as we are the staff. we had a mixture of carnivores and vegetarians and we were all prepared for it. in the did it was easier for the vegetarian to find something to eat than normally when we eat. will definitely return.
The bitters are excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The decor and seating are nice as well. The beer garden is decent, which is why I'm giving it four stars. This place used to be my go-to, but I prefer pubs that are less crowded, like the Ashley, which has a more sophisticated vibe and caters to a more refined crowd, unlike the typical busy pubs that attract a different clientele.
The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, with round tables that create a sociable atmosphere. The food tastes great, and the staff is friendly. Overall, the dining experience is consistently enjoyable!

Really good for takeaways, however eat in is more expensive and way too slow. I would stay away from dine in.
