The flavours were amazing. The owner Phyllis was fantastic. Chatted to us throughout the lunch and gave us a few recommendations to try. All of her suggestions were excellent. We lived in Singapore for three years and loved DTF Dumplings. The Imperial is a comparable quality, but also offers some very unique and alternate flavours that will bring us back many times into the future. We really enjoyed Phyllis’s company and found her as unique and interesting as the dumplings. We were grateful for the time Phyllis gave us, as she was always so busy. We thought we would check this place out after reading some raving reviews on Facebook. We visited at 12.30pm on a Saturday morning. Parking was easy and we walked up to the entry. There were signs up saying bookings only . We made a quick phone call and were told there were seats available. We were seated in a room. The restaurant was quite full. As we were in the room, the trolley doesn 't come in and we ordered off the menu. We had the spare ribs, squid and Sui Mei (with a beer of course). We ate here for 2 days running 1at lunchtime and the evening before The service was excellent and on both occasions the restaurant was very busy the owner is very friendly as are her staff we had lots of different dishes from spare ribs to battered prawns noodles duck and beef in black bean it was all very nice we found this by chance and if in Como again we will definitely call again
Was spoken to like I was a dog off the streets simply because I had no booking. This despite clearly there being many spare tables. This is a Monday lunchtime in Perth which is never busy. They made me stand for 20 minutes with no interaction after which I walked out into the pouring rain. I might add that I’m Aboriginal….!!!
