Spicy food, slow service. If you are a bit wary of too much spice, better to chose mild (we went with medium). This was particularly the case with the mushroom tikka--great veggie concept but really too hot to enjoy. On the other hand, the chicken tikka masala was outstanding. Unfortunately, the table service was extremely slow, even though only 3 tables were occupied (including ours).
This is the third time within the last 12 months that I have dined cafe every time in India with another friend or colleague. The food and service are excellent. Noise is a minimum so that discussions can be held. Every new person I brought to the cafe accepted my recommendation.
Consistently brilliant! My neighbors often India Cafe and we are never disappointed. The Chicken tikka masala is rich and tasteful, the Chili beef is spicy and tangie. The Jalapeño naan is not to be missed. Authentic Indian cuisine right in White Plains! Bravo!
Authentic Indian dining experience. Intelligently seasoned to perfection. Definitely not “spiced down” for Americans. Generous portions will make for a great lunch at home next day!
