My boyfriend and I were craving some good Indian food, and when we found this hole in the wall spot we decided to try it out. It is take out only, but it was delicious!! Don't be fooled by how this mom and pop place looks, it's family owned and run, so go support this small business!! We were greeted by the cashier and I think owner? (We weren't able to catch his name). But he was beyond kind and friendly, and was super patient with us when we were deciding what to order. This is THE BEST Indian food around. I have been a patron to India House Restaurant and it never disappoints. The owner has always been personable over the phone and service is on point. Inside the restaurant has no tables and only chairs for waiting for your to-go order. I believe they used to do dine in a long long time ago but they found that doing all pick up and delivery orders optimal for the business. I can respect that! Chicken Korma is my favorite dish. We just moved from Cerritos to Brea... and if you know Cerritos you know it's little India on Pioneer. I have been trying to find an Indian Restaurant for the longest time that would live up to my expectations. This place is the place to eat in Brea/La Habra area! We ordered our usual chicken tikka masala and the palak paneer, asked for spicy.... And it was bomb.com. Even my husband enjoyed it, and he rarely eats Indian food with me. We will definitely come back again... I think this is our new spot to go to when we crave Indian! Also, the owners were soooo nice and amazing!!
I received my food for takeout only, but it was a few months ago, so I am not sure if the policy is still the same. The wait for the food was quite long, even though the estimated time was given, but the food was excellent. I ordered the butter chicken and it was delicious. I am looking forward to going back and getting it again. It is definitely worth the wait, or I would recommend calling ahead. This is quality food that is worth waiting for. Book a table now
Got this food to go, but they put everything together neatly into a paper brown bag. Didn't know the butter chicken came with rice, so that was a nice surprise! But we got it mild, so it could've used some more flavor. Will get medium next time. The samosas were still crunchy after sitting for a while during delivery. Decently sized and the filling was yummy
The food is delicious and the service is fantastic at India House. This restaurant has been through many changes before becoming India House, but ever since they opened, it has been amazing. The chicken tikka masala, egg rolls, and samosas are all great, but my favorite is the garlic naan. I will definitely be returning.
I recently had the most delicious paneer pakora at this restaurant! The service was excellent, we ordered takeout for brunch and it cost $20-$30 per person. I gave them a perfect 5 out of 5 for the food, service, and atmosphere.
