India palace - Table reservation

After a week's immersion in French cuisine, we welcomed a bit of a diversion. We found India Palace on the TripAdvisor site and learned it was right around the corner from our hotel. Although we were the only patrons on a Sunday evening, we were very pleased with our meal. We went directly to the mains, with a chicken vindaloo and an eggplant curry, with a keema naan on the side. All the dishes, were well-prepared. The portions were a bit smaller than we are used to in the US, and there was a charge for the white rice (our local places generally don't charge), but we were not disappointed in the value for the meal. It was a pleasant change before diving back into French cuisine the next day.

We decided to have a diferent New Year's Eve dinner and we pop in this restaurant where we got quite a good Indian cuisine taking into account we were in France. The decoration needs some renewal. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, thing not very difficult as we were one of the two tables busy in the restaurant. Quite an experience.

This restaurant is very simple: we arrive by chance but we return by pleasure. The service is very friendly and the kitchen is on the edge. Excellent price.

Good lunch, empty restaurant, surprising when you go home but you ate well and it's the main one.
