I would like to start by saying how pleasantly surprised and amazed I am with this place they recently opened in January and are so good. Me and my wife ate here the food didn't take super long just fresh cooked speeds. The service team here was amazing and happily gave my 3 year old a cup but wrapped the cup in plastic wrap and poked the straw through so it didnt spill its the little things !!. They are not expensive at all and you are paying for amazing quality food. The spices they used again have honestly made my entire day we have been in Washington a year and this by far is my new favorite place to go !! Cannot recommend enough great prices great food great staff and welcoming environm...
This place has Amazing Indian food. All the dishes we tried here had great flavor and taste. We got the veg pakoras for appetizer, and mushroom masala and garlic naan for main course. The mushroom masala comes with a complimentary side of plain rice, which we upgraded to lemon rice. The lemon rice was upto the mark too. Lastly we got a pistachio kulfi for dessert which again had great flavor (they make their own ice-creams). Edit: we liked this place so much the first time, we went in again and this time ordered paneer Tikka for appetizer and Malai kofta. Again great flavor. This place is pretty consistent in it's taste and service.
Everything we had was very good. I saved in maps for next time we're in the area. Pictured are leftovers because we were too hungry. Definitely one of the better Indian places. Even the karahi is up there. Samosa chaat was nice and balanced, the samosas had good flavor. The saag didn't taste like all fat (which I like! ; you actually taste the saag. Bummed that we didn't have time to try the desserts; the selection looks great there as well!
Worth leaving the airport for! We came from out of town and saw the good reviews. The food surpassed the hype! Absolutely delicious; we were raving over every bite! And wonderful, very kind service. We will definitely come here next time we?re in town!
