Oh what a disappointment we booked for a Saturday night and I even rang to say sorry we were running late due to the bad weather as you do ) but on arriving we found the place empty !!!! Anyway we then told by the I suppose owner ( as the girl who did try to serve us couldn't understand and he said its her first night No worries I said we all have to learn our trade ) He was very hurried and said all you could have was a choice of the first 3 starters any curry etc etc Anyway we ordered the onion barges and vegi pakoras .The poppadoms arrived ( stale no crisp or crunch with this mango pickle and sloppy yoghurt lumpy tastles stuff ) in the background all we heard was the ping of the microwave...
We went using a voucher but from the prices on the menu its about what you'd expect. The place is tiny and next door to an Asian supermarket run by the same peopke where you can get the most amazing array of spices etc. Not the best view but ok if you're just there for the food. The food was just excellent. I had the Bhuna Beef (mild) and the other half had Beef Korma (also mild). Very tasty...serves just the right size. Rice and naan done just right. Also the onion bhajis were awesome...lovely and crubchy outside and soft inside and done to a turn. And the raita and other dipping sauces were perfect accompaniments. We had take away, it's a very small restaurant. The manager/owner was very friendly, and helpful. We both like hot spicy curries, and he made sure we were given our choice. Plenty of food in the containers, the naan was delicious. We would have returned, however, they are only open in the evenings, and neither of us like driving in the dark in unfamiliar territory. Great food, excellent service.
We were seated in a filthy little storage area, the food and service were terrible. We paid in advance $39 for a voucher and it was a total scam. We didn't even get what was listed on the voucher, which was supposed to be 3 courses but we didn't get dessert. We asked for takeaway and ended up throwing the food out.

We used a discount voucher and the food was very tasty and authentic. Prices were excellent for the main meal and dessert included. The restaurant setting was really a Take Away with some cafe tables. Would definitely go back when in the area.
Love the goat curry - we have been there a few times now - very lucky to have this place near by. Always very friendly and the store is great - the owner is always very happy to share some Indian cooking tips
I like this place when I want to cook a curry. You will get everything you need for a great meal. Excellent and authentic choice of goodies well priced. Easy parking around the Lower Gold Coast Highway.
Tried THALI with 2 gravys and one tandoori roti.... Everything was good... Tasty...quality and good enough for 2 people... Paid 15$... Good service by staff.... Just opposite beach...
