Flavourless food. We ordered medium spiced goat curry and butter chicken. Neither dish was medium spicy - both were disappointingly mild. There were bones in the goat meat and it was tougher than expected. There was a strange smokey flavour to the butter chicken. Like it had been smoked rather than cooked in the tandoor as it's supposed to be. The naan was thin, more like a roti. And instead of cutting it evenly, they cut it into 3 pieces for the 2 of us to share. It was a Saturday night and yet we were the only couple dining in the restaurant. We visited here on a busy Sat night & the service was excellent. The wait staff were exceptionally courteous & unobtrusive. The food was standard Indian fare, but done well. I actually had the mixed vegetable curry & the selection of vegetables was varied, fresh & tasty. Spices were expertly matched to make this one of the best vegetarian Indian dishes have had in a while. I ordered it Indian hot & that is exactly what I got (after much concern from the waiter who seemed to be genuinely concerned for my safety- LOL!!- incidentally found this quite charming!) This is just fascinating. I couldn't believe myself that I had been hiding away from this restaurant for the last 3 years. I am actually gob smacked and taken by surprise by the quality of product, service and ingredients. I must admit so far the best restaurant dining experience for myself and family in the past 5 odd years. It is from now on my hang out place with family. I am hard man to satisfy but I am actually satisfied. Everything from entrees to mains to dessert everything was just simply outstanding with right flavours, spices through.
I think we must have eaten in a different restaurant, after all the positive reviews we decided to give this place a try........I have so say we were rather disappointed, the poppadoms where covered in oil and rather soggy. The main course I decided to have a lamb madras, and ended up with a chicken something or other, my wife had a chicken biryani which was better but not quite up to the mark. Maybe we visited on a bad night, but all in all not a memorable visit.

I agree with Abhinav, I can't believe I only just found this place. Typed in Indian Brisbane CBD on Google, and it brought me straight to this page on Zomato. The lunch offer was too good to pass up, so I came down from my office on my break to indulge. So so good. Just the right amount of spice and everything reasonably priced.
If you work in the City, walk down and give it a go! There's heaps of space to bring the whole office.
The buffet is average here. They only have three four choices of curry with rice. You have to pay extra for naan (Indian bread). Also, they don't have any salads in the buffet. Service was good and quick. Should try once if you like Indian cuisine.

While we were out, we were originally looking for a Thai restaurant. However, we got a bit lost and stumbled upon this place. We decided to switch things up and try Indian cuisine instead.

The restaurant had fantastic food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and found the price to be very reasonable.
Although Indian food is not my top choice when dining out, it is not my second or third choice either.
