Indien Tandoori Inh. Kuldip

It was a pleasant surprise when on my prev trip last year my friends took ,e to this Indian Restaurant in Landau, about 20 kms from where I stay at Deidesheim. The food was amazingly delicious-swaad and satisfying-you could not help overeating.So when they invited me out last month when I was there for Mundusvini-I said yes immediately. Not only is the food immaculate and delicious and perfect for Indian palates-unlike maky quasi fake Gandhi restaurants around the world. I could have had it a bit more spicy but I guess it is meant for German palates. Yet I could not help overeating. The proprietor Kuldip is unpretentious, witty and very charming. Auch wenn es von außen eher unspektakulär wirkt: Innen bekommt man das leckerste Essen Landaus! Sehr zu empfehlen ist das vegetarische Okra-Curry und der salzige Lassi mit frischer Minze. Abends unbedingt reservieren, denn es ist entsprechend des guten Essens und des lieben Service voll. Könnte mich ein mal durch die ganze Karte futtern. Es ist sehr beliebt bei jungen Leuten und uns Studenten. Schön, dass es sowas in Landau gibt.

Das Restaurant in der Nähe der Stiftskirche ist klein, aber gemütlich. Etwas geräumiger und für Gruppen mit mehr als 5 Leuten ist das Red Chili beim Medzen. Die beiden Restaurants gehören zusammen. Das Essen ist in beiden Restaurants super lecker. Man kann auch Essen bestellen und abholen

The lamb was absolutely great and in connection with the indish bread and the baked vegetables breath-taking. The prices are reasonable and affordable for a poor student.

Indian food is always good, but that was the least good I tasted. That's okay, but a bit boring. And no extra sauces, Papadum, etc.
