We first came here in March 2014 when it first opened, and I gave it a great review then. I was looking for a mother's day lunch venue and after reading the most recent reviews, I was a little worried about coming again. I shouldn't have, our table of 5 ordered the traditional banquet @ $38 each. Dips, breads, chips, lamb sambusik, cheese sambusik, kibbi, choice of salad, lamb, beef, chicken skewers, BBQ chicken, garlic sauce and pickles. Hope I didn't forget anything. We took some home we were so full. We couldn't fault anything, the meats were moist, not dry, vegs were fresh and the dips were delicious. No corkage for BYO beer and wine. Can get a bit noisy as you are open to the main road....

This is one of a couple if not the only Lebanese charcoal chicken restaurant in Castle Hill. They do a very good takeaway trade as well. Parking is plentiful in the back council car park and customers can walk through to the restaurant from the back. In winter it could get a bit cold in the patio area but they have gas heaters available. Service is very friendly. A jug of ice water was provided. The garlic dip was YUM!! We ordered the cauliflower floret and lamb sambusik for entree. Both were delicious and very addictive. For mains we shared a mixed platter and a quarter chicken. I loved the chicken and beef skewers in the mixed platter. All the meats were tender and well marinated/seasoned....

Food used to be great at this venue however cost cutting in my view has meant scaling back on quality and this is always going to come at a cost. The chips are no longer served in a nice cardboard box for takeaway which means they are soggy when you arrive home. The chicken is very dry as others have mentioned which is a shame. In my view they have gone down to a smaller chicken and cooking time has remained same. The biggest issue I have with this place is the owner. He always seems to be in a bad mood and cranky. 0/10 for customer service.Move him to the back of kitchen and let him focus on quality of food again I say !

I love this place it never lets me down, always use it when I can't be bothered cooking and get the three skewer platter with the chilli homous tabouli and pita bread - my wife and I can be stuffed eating that together (they are big skewers). Heaps of other nice stuff there, but can't seem to break away from this little gem!
