We were taken to this BYO restaurant on a recent trip to Melbourne and loved it. Don't be put off by the very plain decor and ambience - this little restaurant serves really good, authentic Malaysian cuisine. We tried a number of Malaysian staples - roti canal, chicken sate and beef rendang, for example - and each of them were worth returning for. We had several other dishes as well and everything was delicious. I gather that this is a fairly new restaurant, but have no doubt that with such great food served at such reasonable prices, it will quickly gain a strong following. If we lived nearby, we would be visiting this little gem at least weekly!

Unassuming front didn't prepare me for the excellent Malaysian food inside. Had the laksa, curry chicken roti and curry puffs a few times. All very tasty and the bargain price a nice surprise in this expensive neighbourhood.

Coming from Malaysia......i doing the food taste like back at home. Laksa was good and balance. Not too creamy or too curryish. Marmite ribs was excellent. Char kue teow, assam fish and lobak was delicious.

Frequent client since its inception and my very initial discovery from its small advertising promotion. Heartily recommend this cosy friendly restaurant with excellent offerings..

Good authentic Malaysian food. They have Yee Sang for CNY too. Good friendly service. Parking is easy along High St on weekends. Definitely would recommend to others to try.
