Food wasn't exceptional. My dining partner had broiled catch of the day (wahoo , I had the broiled scallops and shrimp pasta, we shared the island sampler. The appetizer was quite good, though the oysters are served without the typical pairing (lemon, horseradish, hot sauce. While coconut shrimp aren't my favorite, these were much better. The coconut was mild; it's flavors more subtle and less forward than I anticipated. The wahoo smoked fish dip was very nice. The crab cakes didn't look like anything special, rather thin and failed to demonstrate they contained any firm lumps of crab. Mostly appeared to be breading. Overall, I was pleased with this broad offering of items generally not seen...

Islamorada Fish Company, despite its promising name and location, delivers an underwhelming dining experience that fails to live up to expectations. On my visit, the restaurant's atmosphere, though aiming for a relaxed seaside vibe, felt somewhat neglected and lacking in the charm typically associated with a beachside eatery. The menu, while extensive, seemed to struggle in translating potential into flavor. The fish, expected to be the highlight at a place like this, was disappointingly bland and not as fresh as one would anticipate from a restaurant boasting direct access to the ocean's bounty. The sides accompanying the main courses were similarly uninspired, leaving much to be desired in...

Excellent food and service. We went for lunch on a Sunday, so there wasn't much atmosphere for such a big restaurant. Overall, this is a pleasant restaurant; I had the fish chips. My lunch partner ate a grouper ruben sandwich. Only thing that gave me pause was the bread, not sure the suger dusting the top was necessary. After lunch I could walk right into the bass pro next door which was a big plus for me.

The Crab Cake Sandwich was the worst crab cake Ive ever had. I couldnt eat it. My husband tasted it and agreed that it tasted funky. Not much crab, lots of filler, and seasoning that I couldnt quite identify. The fries werent that great either. No ketchup, napkins or utensils in the bag. My husbands Shrimp Tacos had very few shrimp.
