My bf ordered thru grub hub and the order was cancelled saying the restaurant is closed at 6pm when i called the woman who answered was nasty and said all day they are having problems with grub hub… one would think they would alleviate that problem since the morning ? poor customer service over the phone poor reviews just terrible.. i needed soup because im under the weather and this is the customer service u get ? make it make sense
BEST Caribbean restaurant hands down!! We had oxtail, ackee and saltish and steamed fish. They all were all absolutely amazing!! The taste of each meal brought us back to Jamaica! You could tell that lots of love and care went into every meal! Just like mama use to cook it!!Wait, how could I forget the J chicken and triple mixed porridge. Best in the WORLD!!
I was longing for some nice Jamaican restaurant food because I was tired of my own cooking. My husband introduces me to Island J Restaurant and it is my choice when I don't feel like cooking. The food is delicious?, I could taste the love in the food. I fully recommend this restaurant, if you want real authentic Jamaican food.
This time, the service was good. There have been many occasions where the service was terrible. However, the food is excellent. Because of the service issues, I only visit for special occasions. I dislike writing anything negative, and it usually seems to be the younger servers. Overall, I rate the food 5 out of 5. Book a table now

I absolutely adore their food, especially the Curry Goat Roti and the Jerk Pork. In the winter, their Chicken Soup is my absolute favorite. The Beef Patties are always fresh and served hot too. Overall, it’s a fantastic place! Food: 5/5
My customer service experience here is always pleasant. If you want authentic Jamaican food, this is the spot. This is my go to restaurant right here on the island. The Fry chicken is always on point Chef Kiss .
