We had a couple of non adventurous eaters in our group so sought out the nearest Italian restaurant. The decor and atmosphere were pleasant and comfortable. The female waitress was pleasant but not very warm. The male waiter was very clear about the menu and really engaged with group. Unfortunately, several dishes on the menu were not available due to them being made on site (mainly pasta). However, the one pasta dish we had was excellent. The rest of the party had a selection of pizzas. These had nice thin bases and flavoursome toppings. The Calzone was good but would have been even better if it had some tomato or bolognaise sauce on the top as served in many similar restaurants. The waiter...
The result is very disappointing, the gentleman on whom we fell was not very kind to start (not a word but a sign of the head and big eyes to ask us what pizza we wanted), but above all a base of tomato sauce almost nonexistent and two unfortunate pieces of ham to really say that it is a regina. in the end a dry pizza and very little garnished. I would even dare to add that this is one of the worst pizza I ate (and yet I like it!). So please gentlemen of italina, stop thinking that anyway it is the touquet and you will sell without too much effort, you were much better before being cheaper!
The restaurant offers a limited choice of pizzas and pastas. The pizza I had was okay, but lacked love and missed something more. So disappointing.
25€ for microwaved truffles ravioli is way too expensive... I do not recommend this place. We got food poisoning the next morning...
