Was reluctant to give this place ago after reading its up and down reviews, but decided to try and way and very happy I did. I am usually a regular at other Italian Restaurants in the Applecross and Freo areas, and will definitely be putting Itz Amore on my regular dining places.I found the place to be clean, staff friendly (even when they were busy) and the food was of a good to high standard. I have seen some reviews where people have complained about prices, clearly they haven't eaten out much as the prices here were pretty much as I would expect. My wife had the Penne Vodka which was large in size (lucky her eyes are bigger than her belly) and I had one of the pizza which was well cooked...
I am so sad to be writing this review as I have written numerous good reviews about this place and how good the food is. This is local to me and was probably my most favourite cafe. They still do the best lemon meringue pie ever here (please don't ever change suppliers). But the last two meals in the evening I've had here are just not as good. I always have the chicken Milanese and it used to be massive, thin, tasty and so enjoyable. The last two times it's not been bashed out much, so it's thick, tasteless and small, the first time I thought it was a one off and gave it another go but then I went again and the same thing, I am so disappointed. For an early dinner and out by 6:30 - 7pm, this is a great restaurant. They have great specials on both their meals and wines, which are very reasonably priced anyway. I love a cafe/restaurant that doesn't pretend and charge as if it's Silver Service. This restaurant does provide good size meals at reasonable prices! We started with the good old garlic bread then I had the Pizza and She Who Must Be Obeyed, had the Lasagne. I could only manage half the Pizza and they boxed up the leftovers for my lunch today. The Wife loved the Lasagne and, unlike her, skoffed the whole lot, saying it was delicious.
If you ever go here have the ribs!! them and the pizzas are amazing and a good price a 10 inch margarita is only $12 !!!! The ribs have a beautiful sauce and taste better than most high end restaurants that sell the same thing. My husband however had a pasta that was decent . But my two kids had beautifully cooked pizza (margarita & Amore ). I had a slice and it was beautiful. I genuinely think that the bad reviews have only had a once of experience. Thanks Itz Amore for the night will be back.

No linen tablecloths. no fancy decor, but if great Italian food is what you are after, these guys do it so well. We've been there so many times we've lost count. For the spice lovers, try the Arrabiatta or Amatriciana. At the other end of the spectrum, I'm reliably informed the Scallopini Marsala is to die for!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always delicious and the service is top-notch. The only downside is that you can't make a reservation for less than 6 people. Other than that, I am always impressed.
The steak sandwich, veal cutlet, and chicken sandwich are all fantastic. I recommend requesting them to be made on panini bread - it adds a delicious touch!
My boys rate this the best Pizza in Perth!!! Always good food, good value and attentive staff. Location isn't great but the food makes up for that!
