When you step inside, you are booking a one way flight from USA to Okinawa, Japan! That is probably why you will feel out of place. Wassup April 2023. Food 5 stars. Japanese izakaya food in general is damn good but add in Okinawan style and then it gets magical. Been coming here for nearly 6 years and the food has been consistent and unchanged in every way. Have had pretty much every item on the menu and there are no bad items in the lineup at all. But my personal favorites are: beef tongue (thin but not too thin and the onion/green onion sauce is sick sick good); Chinese cabbage salad which is addicting and goes well w all other items; Taco Rice! Not tako but taco. It's served in a hot hot stone hot pot w rice, Mexican ground beef taco and cheese, lettuce, raw egg yolk and picante style salsa and then mixed up in front...
A cozy place with great service. Food is delicious and the presentation is superb. We came here with my husband and our baby and we had a great time. Our baby especially loved the garlic fried rice with lettuce and escallops.Food: 5/5
Visited way back in the spring time of last year. It was amazing! The food was top notch and their house made alcohol was great and fun to try : the atmosphere is cozy but lively.Food: 5/5
