Unpretentious, warm and inviting. Very reasonable prices. The staff are genuine and friendly. Menu is in both Japanese and English. All your favorite hits, ramen, udon, grilled meats, tonkatsu, bento boxes and seafood. Shabu shabu, sukyaki, yosanabe table service. Full sushi bar. Sake bar. Tatami room and karaoke. This place is awesome. Great for a quick weeknight solo meal or large birthday dinner celebration! I get the eel unaju teishoku—always good!
Good Tempura Soba for $11 (4/5), esp the soup. I wish they could use better soba noodles. Ankimo was creative (4.5/5). Asari Sakamushi was authentic (5/5). Yellowtail Carpaccio was meh and overpriced for its portion size (3/5). The Chashu Ramen my friend ordered was also meh (3/5). Overall feels like a hit or miss depending on what you order.
We have only done carry out but the food is so good. Sushi rolls are always fresh and delicious. A bit pricey but what sushi isn't? It's worth it when we have the craving!
