I ordered the satay chicken, and after chewing and thinking it was rubbery I cut a bit of the chicken open to find that it was pink and it was clearly raw. Chicken is the worst possible thing raw because all the bacteria so they clearly don’t know about cooking and health and safety. What’s worse is that when I told the waiter he told me it was cooked and that it was a marinade making it pink, what a great excuse. My friends who was there was just as appalled as I was, and one of them is pregnant which could of been very dangerous to her if she ate it. After all this they still made me pay for my meal. I adore this restaurant, it has become a tradition for my family to dine here on Christmas Eve. Despite the challenges of Covid, we have returned to enjoy the hardworking staff who serve us from a diverse menu. My only complaint is that the sauces are served cold. We were also impressed by our server and made sure to leave a generous tip, as he truly deserved it. We are looking forward to returning on Christmas Eve and will be sure to request our sauces to be served hot.
Waiters bring your 3 chosen dishes to you which saves a lot of waste. Staff were really friendly considering the fact that they were doing a lot of running up and down. Defo worth a visit and don't forget your face mask as you have to wear it when walking through the restaurant.
Went today to find it is closed. And all signage for “zenxi”. Disappointed as the website shows open as does Google. Unless we were in the wrong place. And phone number doesn’t connect. Book a table now
Do not dine here under any circumstances. The food is terrible and the service is abysmal. It's a complete joke. I wouldn't eat here again even if they paid me to.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. The food really wasnt great though, everything came out luke warm and tasted like it had been cooking for hours.
