Yesterday, I visited this restaurant with my adult son and one of his friends for a quick meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for spending time with them. It was amusing to see the adults immediately grab crayons and start writing on the brown paper table cover! The servers were friendly and quick. As for the food, we tried the bow tie and chicken pasta, which was cooked al dente. I didn't realize the chicken was coated, but it was still delicious. Went there for father's day...daughter's treat. I have the chicken parm. I love the bow tie pasta but the chicken lacked cheese and it seemed to be a warmed up portion. My daughter had a burger and loved it as well as the garlic bread (to me it wasn't hot enough). GF had a burger and it looked and tasted so dry. I also had wings but the were overdone IMO. I must point out Leah for fantastic service our server Max who was so attentive. I would go back, but last 2 times at location was slightly disappointing.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times and I love the atmosphere and decor. The service is excellent and the garlic pan bread is absolutely delicious. The Texas roadkill cajun chicken burger is amazing. They offer a variety of options on the menu including fajitas, salads, curry bowls, poutine, burgers, chicken fingers, and even vegetarian/vegan options. It's a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday. Plus, you can have fun drawing on the table with crayons while you wait for your food.
When we fly out of Montreal we stay in a hotel and have a dinner out. We now are making a tradition of eating at Jack Astors for the family dinner out before vacation. Food is great and staff is quick and friendly. We were pleased to be informed when we got the bill that the kids meals were free because it was the last day of march break and kids eat free. Great food and atmosphere!

I went out for dinner last night with my family, and I must say that the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. It made me want to stay and have a drink. We would definitely go back again.
il y a une section bar qui est toujours bondé, on y mange des burgers, doigts de poulet etc..la salle à manger est très familiale, on peut écrire sur la nappe avec des crayons de cire. idéal avec des enfants. c
Improved tasty foods, very very friendly staff, the bar at Jack's Astor is a nice place to go for a 5@7. Prices are good too, ambiance as well. Will go back again for sure.

Jack Astor's is a great place to catch up with friends and watch your favorite sporting event. The food is delish and the wait staff very friendly.
Went for lunch, not much to look at from the outside but decent ambiance and pub decor. Food was good but not fantastic.
