A friend I went here for lunch as it had been recommended never again. I ordered the battered chicken goujons. When the plate arrived the batter was dark brown (not golden) due to the fact they had been fried far too long. Due to this I could barely cut them the chicken meat was tough dry. My friend ordered panko breaded haddock fared slightly better but the fish was overcooked. As the restaurant was not very busy there was no excuse for the poor overcooked food. Certainly not a pleasant meal we will not be returning.
My dining experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The waitresses were inattentive, despite having only three tables to manage. They would disappear and then reappear, ignoring guests in the process. Dietary restrictions were not taken seriously, and overall, there was no redeeming quality to justify the long drive to dine here. I would not recommend this restaurant. Instead, choose establishments that prioritize customer service and do not treat patrons as if they are a nuisance.
Jaffs used to be excellent with great food and efficient service but sadly it seems to have gone downhill. We visited for a family meal, the first time we’ve visited for some time. Starters took a very long time to come out and we got our main courses 1.5 hours after first arriving. Food was OK but was not worth the extremely long wait. I can only assume there is only one person cooking the meals. Waitress was very friendly but the issue seems to be in the kitchen. Unfortunately we won’t be back.
The food was served cold and we had to request the waitress (who only returned to clear plates and bring the bill) to ask the chef. We were informed that the heat lamp was not working, and no alternative offer of hot food was made. It is disappointing that a hot meal was not provided, especially considering the standard. The fish goujons were cold and unappealing for both of us. With better communication and customer service, this restaurant has the potential to be a great dining spot.

Sadly, the first time I’ve ever left a negative review. Visited recently with family. When we arrived we were pointed to our table and after sitting for 25 minutes, we didn’t even have a drink in front of us and still waiting for the kids menu. Only 2/3 other tables there. decided to get up and leave. Won’t be back.
I came here Saturday night for dinner. The service was first class. The food was delicious and everything was freshly made. I had the chilli bowl and it was amazingly good. The prices are very reasonable, and we will definitely be coming back again soon.
Great little place right on the doorstep of Westhill. Really friendly staff. Had a lovely lunch and also had a look at the evening menu which was very varied with some tempting options. Would totally recommend. We will visit again.
Cold restaurant, half cooked dried up food, put back to the kitchen, to be told chef forgot sauce for one meal. Would take it off the bill!! Awful, second time there and first time wasn’t much better. Definitely will not be back

I visited this restaurant on a rainy Saturday for lunch. I ordered the soup and sandwich combo, which was completely homemade and came with a choice of bread for the sandwich. The menu offers a good variety of meal options.
