On arrival given filthy menus with curry splattered on. When given glasses for drinks had to ask for clean glasses. Ordered poppadoms to start, after 35 minutes asked waiter to take main course, couple who'd just arrived had their order taken before ours. Had to re ask for drinks as they'd been forgotten. Plates chipped and cold, asked for fresh plates and cutlery. Food arrived without cutlery and a missing dish, asked for missing dish and told it hadn't been ordered! Rushed out missing main course and the chapati was uncooked and doughy. Poor service. Poor quality ingredients. New plates, cutlery and dishwasher needed! Do not recommend to eat here, buy yourself an indian ready meal instead...
The food was unbelievably bland. Four of us ordered completely different curries and three of them were almost identical with all four being nothing like the menu said. I ordered a speciality dish which might as well come out of a jar from Morrisons. I also feel we were overcharged as the receipt was handwritten and we couldn’t understand anything. It was very expensive. The final insult was the card machine was conveniently not working…I’m guessing the taxman won’t be seeing any of our cash.
We ate in the Jaipur restaurant last night, 2 couples after Thirsk races. The food here was amazing, we could not fault any of the dishes. The service was fast. efficient and very friendly even when we couldn't get a taxi we were offered a lift to our accommodation 3 miles away. Thank you so much, from 4 happy customers.
Really disappointed been to this restaurant a number of times and has slowly gone down hill manager very rude more interested in the takeaway customers the whole meal felt rushed bill came before we had chance to order any more drink or coffee very poor won’t be returning

We’ve been going here for a few years now and it’s always been impressive. Dining in or takeaways the meals are one of the best in the area. The staff are really friendly and will always help in offering something new if you’re uncertain what to order.
We ate here when staying nearby in Thirsk. Really friendly staff absolutely delicious food! We tried 2 of their signature dishes from the menu and they were soooo good. Would definitely recommend this place!
What an amazing place the food was fantastic, thank you guys it made my birthday,garlic chilli lamb and keema rice is a must. I will definitely be returning soon.
Great food! Very busy which meant a bit of a wait for food, but you can understand why when the food is so tasty
