I have been in Plymouth for an extended period of time to work on a project. I have been searching for a good place to have breakfast and have tried several, but I finally found Jakes. I was welcomed by a very friendly and attractive manager. The English breakfast was well presented with good portions, and most importantly, at a reasonable price. The young staff is always pleasant and willing to help with anything. I always look forward to having breakfast at Jakes.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and I have never had any issues before. Even today, when there was a mix-up with my order because I didn't communicate exactly what I wanted, the server handled it in a very professional manner. I believe this exceptional service deserves to be mentioned in a review. I wanted to share some positivity towards this establishment.
This small diner is fantastic. We were able to easily walk in and grab a table on Sunday morning with no wait. The food came out promptly and was delicious. I ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger with fries, and my partner got the huge breakfast platter (which was more than she could finish).
I had a great experience at Cafe Saffron. I tried the Flamingo Chicken and it was delicious. It had the perfect amount of spice that you could still taste all the flavors. Book a table now
