I recommend coming here on a tuesday. The bartender Derek is fantastic at what he does. He's engaging. On top of your drinks and order. Plus whoever is the chef is on tuesdays always cooks everything to absolute perfection. We've never had a bad experience when going on tuesday.On sundays it's different. If you go on a Sunday I'd recommend sitting in the main dining room area. As the tables and bar seating tends to be slowly served and not as attended as the main room, even during slower dining times. Orders tend to take longer, and usually come out wrong. There was 5 of us for lunch and it was the first time for all. With the exception of the main dish taking a little bit longer than normal to be served it was very wonderful. I believe 3 of us had a dish from the Special of the Day Menu, Steak Tibits on aGarlic Roll and I had a side dish of Cole Slaw, my son had the same main dish with some sort of roasted macaroni which heloved. Upon arriving at the East Meadow Jake's Steakhouse, we were immediately brought to our table. Our Server, Alan, was very polite and friendly. He asked us how we were and would we care for some refreshments. We mentioned that both my wife and I were celebrating both our birthdays with a nice dinner out. Alan wished us a happy birthday and left to get our refreshments. We ordered our dinners and asked if we could substitute 2 items for myself due to a special diet that I required. We had an Open Table reservation. We were seated promptly. Server was friendly and paced our meal perfectly. There were four of us and we all ordered different drinks, appetizers, entrees and sides. All of us enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return for a special occasion.

I enjoyed the 8 oz filet, which was cooked to perfection. My wife had a generous serving of pork chops that were delicious. The service was excellent. We've been here several times and will definitely return.
Wife's surf n turf well prepare my Jake's filet mignon also well prepared with sweet mash awesome. Waitress, she was on point. Table for 2 a little small. But overall, we we're satisfied.
Do yourself a favor- eat at Jake’s Steakhouse and ask for Carly! She took great care of us. Carly was attentive and very sincere. She made the dining experience even more pleasant!
The burger and steak were fantastic! The mussels pot was enormous! Jenna was incredibly helpful and kind in explaining the menu and the specifics of our order!

The employees are the other highlight after the food. Luis Noel Bubba Derek are the greatest staff ever but none of the others stay behind! I love being there
One on my favorite places. Food is consistent and I always leave satisfied. Pricing is on the higher end but so is the quality.
