We got rained out of our original plans. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted something nice but last minute and wasn't sure where we could get in. We went there a few weeks ago when we were in the area and liked it very much. Jakes is about a half hour from us so I decided to book a reservation 2 hours before we wanted to go. We arrived on time, were seated immediately, the hostess even wished us a Happy Anniversary (although I didn't specify in my reservation that it was it must have been on a different reservation from a prior year through open table). The service was on point and everyone was really nice and very attentive. The food was great. They have burger and fried chicken...
As expected, we had a great time at Jakes. All of our meals from the short ribs to the marinated skirt steak and the fried chicken were delicious. Our server Christian was excellent as was the rest of the staff. Neighborhood gem for sure!
Eating was excellent. had prefixe and all had marinated rock steak and loved it. it was a birthday party and we had a great time
