This place has truly improved over the years. I have been coming here now for quite some time and the food is just delicious. I just ate the taco dinner with chicken and the tacos were so unbelievably fresh. As I'm sitting here it's 5:24 pm and people are coming in for dinner so you know it's good. I chose to sit in and eat here and it's always clean and bright. I recommend this place highly for Mexican food!
I was going to order food through Grubhub, so I could pick it up. They had an offer seven dollars off your first order, so I use that coupon and ordered a steak burrito bowl. They gave a pretty good size portion of refried beans, lettuce, rice, steak, cheese, salsa, sour cream. However, the steak literally has absolutely zero taste. I'd rather get a burrito bowl from chipotle. I definitely was not impressed.
Judge for yourself... just picked up my STEAK burrito. It 's more like a lettuce burrito with a touch of STEAK! I called they said this was the amount they always use... what a rip! They didn 't seem to care that I was upset about it.. I will never get food there again. OH! And it was also cold! Probably cause it a lettuce burrito I paid $8 for!! My husbands was the same.
I recently visited Jalapeno, a small Mexican restaurant in Orland Park. The ambiance was quiet and cozy, making it a great place to relish some authentic, mouth-watering Mexican food. During my visit, I ordered four chicken tacos and six jalapeno poppers. The food was tasty, simple, unique, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained. Book a table now
Honestly If you're thinking of trying this place don't do it. They used 2 small corn tortillas to roll a flauta and it wasn't even secure. Second, their steak has no flavor and they don't even give a decent portion. Honestly the worst authentic Mexican food and not even worth the 20% off coupon you get with online ordering. Won't be back!
We ordered 3 chicken tacos and 3 chorizo tacos today. While the chicken tacos were good, the chorizo tacos were inedible. Whoever prepared the them burned the chorizo so badly that it was actually black and crunchy. Either learn how to cook or hire a cook that knows what he/she is doing.
I loved this place. Very friendly and fast service. I had the steak burrito and my friend had steak tacos. We both thought that they were absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back and have more great food.
Holy **** is this place expensive all of a sudden. 6 tacos and a small salsa $34! I know food is high right now but holy **** for take out food. Book a table now
