"could barely stomach how poorly seasoned and prepared it was. collard greens were bland and undercooked. mac and cheese no flavor and dry. bbq chicken was ok and the only saving grace. i was looking forward to some authentic food but this meal just was not it."

Born and raised in Brooklyn, in the hood and we had Caribbean spots everywhere, but it comes down to what spot tastes the best. I moved out to Long Island a few years back not expecting to find a valid Caribbean spot. Jamaican Paradise is the first spot I tried out and ever since the first try I gave it a thumbs up. I stopped buying from for a while and when I came back it's like I'm back in Brooklyn. I had their large mango salmon with sides the day and honestly because of that plate is the reason why I'm writing this. I NEVER had salmon that tasted sweet, rich and glamorous in flavor. Mixing the salmon up with the sides made it 10x better. This spot got their mac n cheese on POINT and most...

I came to this restaurant seeking an escape from the chaos of my life, to put it simply, I've had a rough month. When I entered, the lady curtly said "next", and when I politely inquired if they were serving, they confirmed. I proceeded to place an order for two beef patties for my children, while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive. However, the lady was impatient, yelling "next, next" so loudly that I felt rushed and disappointed. I made the decision to leave because if I had stayed, the stress would have likely landed me in jail. This was my first time at this establishment, and I have no intention of returning. I will be sharing my negative experience with others.

Get the bun and cheese and the beef patty with coco bread one of my favorite things to eat. The bun and cheese is sweet and the cheese is fresh and soft. The pie (baked mac n cheese) with the BBQ chicken and cabbage is delicious. The ladies are so nice and nice hospitality. They gave me the best bang for my buck and you have to try the homemade lemonade.

When it comes to Jamaican culture, these people know exactly what to do. They know exactly how to cook before and I had to put taste. I love Colin hear the people are so nice in your food is not over priced sure to visit if you’re in the area and have a taste for yourself
