Horrible management and customer service bad Attitude from the manager. Was there Saturday 1/21/23. Celebrated my wife's 40th birthday...had 29 guest. Drop 2k on a private party. When we party was over. 45 mins later i realized that i miss misplaced my wallet. When I went back to the establishment to see if it dropped on the ground , both the bouncer and manager Stephanie that I just gave 2k to for the party we had. wouldn't let me back in to look for 2 mins without waiting online to get back in. Was completely nasty about it. She didn't even care . Horrible
Very overrated place on google for this place yelp is more then accurate, nothing too special here that was worth my time. For starters, the menu was basically a lunch menu other then a few dinners which weren’t too good.Drinks and food took quite some time to come out. Food was diner quality, server wasn’t too attentive. The prices explained the quality of the food though which is why I gave 2 stars not 1. I would of gave 1 star if they were ripoffs. Much better place when they opened I’d say to avoid it unless you absolutely have to go here.
I recently had a fantastic experience at James Joyce. We held a 40th birthday party with around 30 family and friends. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the management was very accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with high ceilings and lovely lighting that creates a spacious and open feel. Our guests had a wonderful time and I am incredibly grateful for the amazing birthday celebration.
Love the layout and atmosphere. I really liked the high backed bench seating, Just makes the meal feel alot more private. Food was top notch. The beer cheese and gigantic pretzel were excellent. It's probably the freshest calamari I have ever had. The joyce burger was juicy flavorful and the toppings were overflowing . Drinks were poured nice ans strong. Our server Stephanie was attentive and gave great recommendations. excellent service all around

Cody and Ivan were exceptional at the bar. They were extremely attentive, took and fulfilled orders quickly, and their drinks were consistently made. They even accepted song requests, as long as they were appropriate. These two took pride in their work and were excellent bartenders and representatives of James Joyce. If you see them while visiting this bar, be sure to tip them well. Service of this caliber is rare to find.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the seating on the second floor is plagued by a continuous cold draft that affects the tables. We were all so cold that we couldn't wait to finish our meal and leave. The restaurant should address this issue in order to receive a 5-star rating from me. I recommend sitting downstairs instead.
Sadly this place manager and owner is very racist. I didn’t bother going in because I was disgusted at the way they were treating people outside. Very condescending and irrational. Just cruel. I been there one time before, the music was good, drinks good, but bad management behavior.
The place was crowded and the dress code was strict some of my friends were left out ruining the mood, the songs were average. I suggest everyone to follow the dress code no hoodies, no colorful shoes, no sneakers or jordans, etc

The owner was a bald man who needs to get laid. Kicked my friends out of line for no reason and couldn’t even answer my questions. Needs to be more professional especially since his bar is empty.
Beautifully decorated. Looks like Manhattan. Great food Great service live music. You can not go wrong going here for a drink or to eat. Love this place
