I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I hadn't been here in a year and was shocked to see that the price had increased from £16.95 to £24.95, which I found outrageous. The only highlight was the excellent soup. However, the crispy duck they brought was cold and very dry. The fillet of fish in spring onion and ginger was disappointing as well - the fish was in a soggy batter with a tasteless sauce. The chicken and cashew dish was also disappointing, with dry chicken in a bland BBQ sauce. The noodles we ordered seemed dry as if everything was prepped and then microwaved. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant as it was a waste of money. It's such a shame as it used...
We decided to give the restaurant another chance because we enjoy the idea of eating a variety of small plates of food. Unfortunately, nothing has improved. The restaurant is outdated and the food is low quality and extremely salty. The chicken was tough and the crispy duck was dry and disappointing. We will not be returning here again. Hopefully, another Chinese restaurant will open in town soon.
To start with its very expensive but that’s ok is the quality’s there but it’s not. Dry tasteless dishes that disappoint from the very beginning. I won’t detail every single dish because it’s really not worth it needless to say read the reviews and ignore them at your peril!
Friendy staff, faster service, excellent eating and t’singtao beer. do not give 5* as construction work next to the door has cut their phone line, and not the first time its dragged, therefore not in the position to contact them and pay only cash. Book a table now
an authentic Asian restaurant in the middle maidenhead large selection of dressed good with high quality ingredients and made with care. service is good and attentive with a smile.
