A yum Cha disappointment, we ordered Chinese tea, as you do at yum Cha, it didn't taste as good as normal and no tea leaves, yes just a cheap old teabag in the pot. We ordered the crispy roasted pork belly- it is our favourite - I also made a point of asking for a hot fresh one, Nothing nice about a cold fat. It arrived and it was not hot and it seemed like it had just been thrown in a deep fryer, we asked for it to be taken back and served HOT Came back out, sane plate sane meat so it had just been put in microwave, now the issue was it was having swimming lessons in its own fat ! A comfortable and sophisticated 120 seat restaurant. If it wasn't for the magnificent views of the Gold Coast Broadwater it could have been a five star restaurant in Hong KongThe atmosphere was vibrant and modern but preserving the traditional charm of Yum Cha. The clinking of tables being cleared and set, the chatter of patrons, the friendly solicitation of servers with their trolleys laden with bamboo steamers full of assorted dumplings. Seafood tanks, private dining rooms, intimate corners, indoor and outdoor seating with views redefine the local Chinese restaurant.The food was exemplary and surprisingly good value given the quality and ambiance of the restaurant.All added up to a delight...
Had yum cha lunch with a friend here on Friday. Anyone who likes yum cha knows that the two essentials are using quality ingredients and having it freshly prepared. Add that to friendly service, elegant ambience and calming views over the Southport Spit and Broadwater, and this restaurant ticks all the boxes. It was my first time here and, since the local Mayor was hosting lunch in the VIP room at the same time, I presume its reputation is already spreading. Just looking at the well stocked seafood tanks makes me want to go back soon for dinner on evening. Highly recommended!

they hired a new manger - seems to be a Malaysian guy, every time when waitress led us to the window table he will surely say the table is reserved and give us a table in the middle or at the corner and when Aussie comes he will be happily give them the window table so people can see from outside... unbelievably bias and rude although we are also Australians... not sure if this the way this place is trying to attract more customers... what a shame, he probably hate himself as an Asian but please don't bring to others as we all equal here in Australia
A ladies lunch with a lovely view of the Broadwater. Found the food very good but service a little disjointed. Prices were reasonable; however, we were surprised at a $25 corkage fee for one bottle of wine. As they had not advised of the fee structure for corkage beforehand they reduced the fee. Parking is available downstairs but worth noting there is a fee after 2 hours. There is also free 2 hours parking on the street.
Delicious food and great service! Eaten here twice now, and both times have been excellent. It has a nice view, and the food is amazing. I recommend the pan friend pork and choice dumplings, and the roast pork belly. Service has always been great as well.
And excellent service. Had Yum Char and a superb Peking Duck. The Manager and all the staff were excellent. Ask for a window table, Very nice views. Best Chinese restaurant on the Gold Coast. BYO too. Winner!

Was pleasantly surprise of the quality of the food and ambiance. Very delicious 3 cup chicken, seafood hotpot. Beautiful room and views of the GC.
