My brother Scott is the pit boss there. My nephew Bert does various things there and my nephew Riley is there part time. Excellent food. Helps to know they've got the right person with all the passion in the world of cooking and grilling and smokin up the best meats.The service was awesome. One primary server with the entire team of servers helping to get the food to tables in good time and I cannot complain about any of the entire experience.The gentlemen singing at the open mic sounded terrific and most of us at our table of 9 sang right along with them... at our own table, of course. Very nice atmosphere and seems super clean on the inside. The restrooms were very clean. Wait staff was courteous and attentive. However, my son got his food quite a bit later than the rest of us, and there was a hair in his burger, so we had to wait for it to be re-made. I get it... it happens, but we weren't offered any kind of discount or anything for the inconvenience. The food was just ok for the price. The portions were huge. We couldn't eat it all. They should really probably cut the portion sizes a bit and lower the prices. Also, I ordered a salad with ranch dressing and the dressing just tasted like Hidden Valley or Kraft. For a $15 salad, you would think they would use a house made...
This is one of the best restaurants in Jasper, we live 45 minutes and look for excuse's to drive this way, just so we can eat at the Pub and Grub. We have also taken many family members there to eat. The food is always fresh and delicious, I have catered and cooked and owned my own restaurant, I know what good food is. The service is always good and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
Yum! We stopped for dinner while on vacation, and we are so glad we did. The pizza was so good! Beer wasn't bad either. Service was spot on. Needless to say, we will be back. The pub is just off the square in Jasper. The outdoor seating is so inviting. Waitress was very accommodating. Food was tasty with good portion. The pretzel bites and mozzarella bites really good. I got the fries fish, large portions. They have signature burgers. Good place

Nice people. Food was pretty 'meh ' though. Best thing on the menu was the side of cheesy bacon potatoes. That was about it though.
Try the pub salad, it is outstanding! Not many places offer a great salad anymore. They have amazing food! One of our favorites ?
