I ordered my favorite mussels, but they were terrible! They were absolutely disgusting. Most of them were still closed, and even the ones that were open were undercooked. I asked the waitress to remove them from my bill since they were inedible. Instead of checking with her manager, she sent another staff member to assist us. I paid for everything, but I will not be returning. I'm very disappointed. Jax used to be my favorite place until last night.
This is the third time visiting Jax. As usual it was very good. Our server was very attentive and made great suggestions for me have my husband to try. My favorite was the clam chowder had such good flavor. Husband had the catfish and it was so light, flaky and crunchy. Overall a great experience.
Our server was great, but the food here is not near as good as the Jax in Boulder. And everything was so pricey, with no happy hour apps at all. $48 for a small piece of Mahi-Mahi- ridiculous!
Wonderful staff and fantastic food! I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes, the pear and fennel salad, and the cornbread. We will definitely return! Book a table now
The lobster rolls were delicious. The chowder was also delicious. The cornbread left much to be desired. The service was slow.
Everything was very good food, wine, dessert; quieter them other JAXs we've been to.
