We arrived in the area for a wedding and having searched, we tried the 'top rated ' option on trip advisor, only to find it a little disappointing. However, as luck would have it, we found ourselves at J 'doudna. As 2 English travellers, we weren 't exactly sure what to expect but we ended up seriously impressed. Firstly, its filling. Dont let the plate sizes fool you; the food just keeps coming, and it is truly excellent. After our first visit, we returned with a larger group and had a set menu (3 courses for €22.50) and it was exceptional. By the Shawarma, we couldnt eat another bite so never made it to desert but we would keep going back if we could. Lovely people, excellent food in a stu...
An excellent restaurant, but not very commercial... Impossible to have a dessert in the dining room at the end of the meal, only to take away because closing time is approaching. The waiter clears us up, not even giving me time to finish my glass of water.
Our first visit since lockdown and the food met our expectations from previous visits. Highly recommended
