I this wonderful deli really saved my day when we were looking for a lunch spot in Ardmore on a Monday when everyone is closed, (including my Ardmore favorite, Felicia's Pizza!)Super friendly, great prices, Dietz and Watson meats, and the best Ruben sandwich on swirled rye bread I have had in decades! Highly recommended! I did not try their cheesesteak, but when one was delivered to the table next to me, I put it on the list for next visit, which will be soon! Oh, and thanks for letting us BYOB, as we had some tasty beers from Tired Hand Brewery which is a coupla blocks away!
I will never go back to this place after being a customer for the last six years. You might be wondering why. It's simply because today was the first time I walked into the restaurant, and the employees were extremely rude and ignorant.
It's bittersweet, I have been eating here for almost 20 years. But I can say for sure ever since Mr Lee and Jeannie left it's just not been the same. Food quality has plummeted, takes over an hr for delivery, it's just not the same.
The food is consistently excellent, though it can be quite expensive for what you receive. It's a fantastic local spot, and we’re glad to have it in the neighborhood.
