We visited Jefferson Diner on Father's Day around noon. It was very busy, as we expected. The host and hostess were outside, offering patrons the option to sit outside where there were available tables. We decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunny day and agreed to sit outside. The waitress took our drink order and then our food order, but we ended up waiting a long time for our food. After waiting for an hour and a half, and seeing other families come and go, I went inside to speak to the manager. I politely explained that we had been waiting for quite some time, along with other tables outside. The owner of the diner did not apologize or acknowledge the situation, but simply pointed...

I went to the restaurant this evening and tried their all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs. When I inquired if the meatballs truly were unlimited, the server confirmed they were. However, on my first plate, I received two meatballs, on the second plate just one, and by the third plate, there were none at all. I got the impression that I may have been a hassle for the waitress. While she asked everyone else if they wanted dessert, she completely overlooked me. So much for the charm of a small town.

Rueben was perfection, all you can eat gluten free fish fry was delicious, and very accommodating for our kids. They also loved their kids spaghetti. Service was so fast and friendly. This place is a gem. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, booster seats, and a simple but great kids menu. It’s small in there but we were in a corner with our three little kids and it was wonderful.

A local favorite for breakfast and lunch, this place can get quite hectic due to its popularity and high turnover, resulting in a noisy atmosphere. The food is on par with a classic diner in both portion size and quality. Overall, the dishes are generally flavorful and definitely worth a visit. Book a table now

The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! They used fresh produce from local farmers’ markets and the beef and pork were homemade. I even remarked on how flavorful the meat was—definitely fed corn. We make the drive from Akron because the experience is so enjoyable!

The fish fritter was disappointing—too fatty and overcooked. The coleslaw tasted more like relish mixed with salad dressing. On the bright side, the fish itself was quite tasty.

The wait for our food always seems to take an eternity. It’s even more frustrating to see others who arrived after us getting their orders taken before ours!
