Jeffrey is the place for brunch at Monterey Bay. Much better than Scratch, the same/lighter than Katie's Place, but half the price, better than First Awakenings, better than Bayonet, Crema, Monterey Plaza, Bernardus, even the lodge in Pebble Beach (although not as decadent). The lobster omelet on the special menu is to die! Crab Cake Bene is great, really so are all her vines. We live in aromas and sometimes make the drive to eat here. We've been eating here for 3 1/2 years and love it!
We discovered Jeffrey through her spicy pecans. Amazing food in a sweet café atmosphere. This time they learned to make an ingenious Hollandaise sauce! Favorite restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula.
Great breakfast! Ate outside, nice people to talk, and very dog friendly. We'll be back soon!
