I genuinely wish I could rate this restaurant a perfect ten stars! My craving for Caribbean food brought me here, and I visited with a friend. I ordered the oxtail platter with okra and collard greens, while my friend opted for the jerk salmon with sweet plantains and collard greens. The food was incredibly tasty, and the staff was exceedingly friendly and professional. I really can't think of anything that could have enhanced my experience; everything was simply perfect! I highly recommend trying their ginger lemonade and sorrel – they are absolutely delightful. Thank you, and I can't wait to come back soon!

Horrible experience.. Walked in, was not greeted. They refused to mix chicken been though I said just charge me extra. Asked for a cup to give water to my dog and they charged me $1- wow! You charge $4.50 for a 20oz water but can’t give a complimentary cup. The staff mumbles under their breath. My first time here they should understand I don’t know the menu. Kindness goes along way. On top of that I was over charged for a salad. $14.95 $8.95 upgrade. Jerk chicken was dry. Collards way too salty. The only thing I could say is the fish sandwich was good place was clean. Will not return..

This is a cute little Jamaican spot. The decor was great. After passing the decor I was met with two friendly employees. I told the gentlemen that I was a vegan and that prompt him to get everything they offer that's vegan so I can try for free. I appreciated this. May I say everything he gave me tasted delicious! When I finished eating he brought samples of each juice they offer. My mother in law is not a vegan and he did the same for her but offered her non vegan food. I will be going again. Give them a try!

If you're longing for tasty Jamaican food without having to travel far, look no further! Nestled in the heart of Hackensack is a real hidden gem. Don't miss out on the soursop lemonade—it's the perfect refreshment for a hot day! The jerk wings were amazing, and the greens and mac and cheese were just as enjoyable. The staff was friendly, and I really appreciated the lively music that enhanced the overall experience. Book a table now

They have certainly made strides since their opening. In the beginning, the portions were meager, and the food was underseasoned. Now, however, it has greatly improved! While it still doesn't feel entirely authentic, as it has a more "modern" and "clean" flavor compared to the rustic taste you'd expect from meals cooked in a steel pot outdoors, it is definitely a notable enhancement from what it used to be.

Stopped here on a whim. I love Jamaican food and consider myself a pro @flavor and taste. I had oxtail with rice and peas plantains and cabbage. $30 is ridiculous for a single plate just because it has 3 sides that?s like two teaspoons each. On topof that nothing tasted Jamaican but it did taste like it could pass for Spanish food. It was ok but nothing to write home about.

I always stop by this restaurant whenever I'm in town from North Carolina, but I've never taken the time to share a picture or write a review! The food is consistently great, and this time I tried the Salmon Rasta Pasta. In the past, I've enjoyed the Jerked Rasta Pasta, Curry Chicken, Jerked Chicken, and the Hibiscus Juice, all of which were excellent!

We fell in love with Jamaican cuisine after our vacation in early 2023. This was our first Jamaican restaurant in the US. We have visited this eatabliahmebt twicw and the Chicken and oxtail hit the spot when we are craving jamaican cuisine. Food is pricey and the portions are on the smaller side.
