This place can be quite inconsistent. When it delivers, the subs are great, but when it doesn’t, it’s usually because they skimp on the meat. There have been times when I've ordered a large steak and cheese or cold cut sub, only to find that the meat is so sparse that I have to consolidate it from one half to the other just to have enough for a decent sandwich. The toppings are always fresh, and my orders are consistently accurate, which I appreciate. I would have rated this place 5 stars if it weren't for the varying quality of the subs. Normally I am very pleased but today was not the case. I placed my order online yesterday for my team holiday lunch, even had someone call to verify, we get there at the designated time and guess what my order had not been touched. The staff found theorder ticket and literally just looked at each other as if they did not know what to do, so now we are waiting for thesandwiches that were already suppose to be prepared and there was not a bit of empathy shown. Maybe next time will be better.
I recently tried this Jersey Mike's Subs location for the first time, usually visiting the Fayetteville one when I'm in town. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the Philly cheesesteak tasted great. The staff were also very friendly. The only downside was that although the menu listed root beer, I couldn't find any available.
I really enjoy the Philly cheesesteak subs! My boyfriend is a huge fan of the Italian sub. When it comes to desserts, my favorite is definitely the brownies.
