We have ordered from Jersey Mike's Subs many times since it opened, but our last two experiences were very disappointing. The cheesesteak and buffalo chicken subs we received were the driest we've ever had, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I called the store to request replacements and returned with the sandwiches, but when the manager came to process my refund, there was no apology. When I shared my disappointment, he insisted there was nothing wrong with the sandwiches. I find it hard to believe that serving dry sandwiches is acceptable. The portion sizes for mobile orders can be inconsistent. The staff should be better trained on what a proper serving looks like. I usually visit once or twice a week, and while my orders are mostly spot on, there have been a couple of times when I've received a container that looks like a half portion—even though I always order the same thing. I don’t quite get that. On the plus side, pickup times are generally reasonable and the food always tastes great. It might be a good idea to offer some to-go packets of vinegar as well.
Every visit to Jersey Mike's Subs has been a great experience. The staff consistently welcomes me with a friendly attitude and delivers outstanding service. The subs are delicious, and the team is truly top-notch. My only suggestion would be to improve the air conditioning, as it can get uncomfortably warm inside, which is tough on the employees. Overall, I’d rate it an A!
They frequently refuse to accept online or mobile orders. I used to work at this location, and during my time there, that would have been completely unacceptable. If they are too busy, they need to hire more staff because it’s ridiculous to have to travel from city to city just for a sandwich. So much for their slogan, "A Sub Above."
