I know that wine tasting is very personal. I am a frequent visitor to the region and usually come to stock up my wine supplies and by 4 or 5 dozen bottle of wine or more twice a year. Unfortunately the wine tasting experience here is not wonderful mainly due to the tastings not being done by the wine maker which is common in many other wineries. However, the facilities here are very good the food is good and the cafe/restaurant is a good place to recharge. For mine the wines are middle of the road but as I say wine is subjective and revolves around personal taste. I did not leave with a dozen but did buy a couple of bottles of the Verdelho.

On a recent visit to the Granite Belt we dropped in to Jester Hill with no great expectations and were quite delighted with warmth of our welcome, the friendly tasting experience and the quality of their wines. We didn't stay for lunch but it is quite a nice setting and next time we will stay for a feed with our tasting. It is well worth adding this winery to your list of those to visit.

I have been visiting the Granite belt wineries twice a year now for the last 5 years and usually buy several dozen wines or more per trip. However, this is not one of the best. The facilities are great, the cafe has good food but the tasting experience is average and that is not a comment on the wines. Wine taste is subjective but to me there are better in the region.

We were greeted by the resident security...2 dogs who I was sure were trained to ensure all visitors were escorted to the cellar door to ensure they wouldn't run away...we had no intention of wine shopping at this stage since we were done for the day, instead it was recommended to us as a lunch stop. The food was generous, tasty and filling with views to boot. Book a table now

Nice setting, wines were quite OK without being outstanding, some more obscure varietals available which is great to see.We ate in the restaurant - venison pie was home made and really good, also a good solid chicken burger was devoured by my partner. Good meal. Also worth a visit if in the area.

Had a beautiful lunch here while on a winery tour. Lovely setting. Views to vineyards. Big dogs welcome you. Great statue in vineyard. Love their Summer Roussane white wine. Had to go back again to get another 6 bottles at Easter.

We have been here on a number of occasions and each time the meals have been excellent. Wonderful friendly service and a bottle of good wine, what more does one want. We shall be back

We went here as part of a Christmas party wine tour and it was one of the best in the area. I usually stock up here.
