Omggg, sooooo good! The server Leo was amazing and so friendly and helpful. This was my first time I came here and heard so many good things about her, so decided to try them and I'm glad I did. We have the combo meat plate and Leo beat the fish, the ribs and the chicken and let me tell you it was all good. The fish was hot and fresh and only the best fish ever! The ribs were amazing and juicy and simply perfect and the chicken was also good. The potato salad and the Macn cheese were also sooo good! If I'm ever back in Birmingham, I'm back. recommend this place!
It was my first time to eat here. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The peach tea and cheddar biscuits were so delicious. I enjoyed cleanliness and how friendly the building was. It doesn't even feel like on the South Side. It's so well hidden among everything else around her. If you're inside, you're not disturbed by things going outside. We loved the bbq and the kids options. Chili-Käsefries were a hit for my 4 years old.
Delicious bride and onion rings!! Love how their onion rings are HUGE (I could wear these onion rings as bracelets haha! . Great mood and culture. Your cheese biscuits are a must try. Since the first visit I added Jim N Nicks to my favorite list of restaurants in AL! This location has difficult parking, as it is in the city center, but it is worth the effort for good food!!
Not the best. Typical chain food. Cheese biscuits were good. The white sauce on the chicken was worth the drive. I'll be making my own. Carolina pulled pork was bland. Brisket was a mushy mess. Coleslaw was basic and there may have been a slight edge to their Mac n cheese if you're into cheddar. I am not. Service was outstanding! Would not recommend.

We are only spending one night in Birmingham and wanted to find a good lunch spot for our family. We ordered take out. We had the best brisket sandwich we've ever had. The cheese biscuits tasted like a biscuit and cornbread mix, which was so good. The ribs tasted awesome even without the extra sauce smoked perfectly. Highly recommend!
Such a disappointing Doordash delivery from here. It was late, and my ribs were really cold, although the weather was warm. And, I ordered a dozen of the muffins. They were very undercooked, and they were just randomly tossed in the container, crushing eachother. They looked like garbage.
Restaurant was short staffed yet we still received our food pretty fast. Our waiter Nicholas was awesome! He was constantly running around doing work. We shared the 2 meat plate, everything was great. The peach tea here has chunks of peaches in it-SO good!
The food was spot on with flavor and deliciousness . The staff was very welcoming and down to earth. We were a party of 18 and everyone received their food in a timely manner. I ordered the half-chicken meal with macNcheese and corn on the cob.
