Fries were awesome as well. 2nd visit, went in for the same chicken finger combo could not eat it. Chicken was Tyson/McDonald's /mystery meat version where you can't tell what it is. Fries were ok except one stale /gone bad potato. Tried to eatthe chicken, but was just unacceptable 2nd time around, must have been a tight restaurant budget week. I just dropped by for some ice cream. It's a cozy little spot with limited seating and a small menu featuring a few quick options. I didn't pay much attention to the prices. The ice cream was really good; I tried the Moose Tracks flavor, which had a nice taste and a smooth texture. The chocolate is blended in well, so there are no large chunks to deal with. The portion size was generous. The place felt a bit cluttered due to the limited space, but everything appeared to be clean. It seems like they’re making an effort to offer a variety of items to stay afloat. The two ladies working there were friendly and efficient.
My hash brown was undercooked, and the bacon was excessively crispy and stale, clearly leftover from a few days ago. The bread was soggy and didn’t seem to be properly grilled, almost as if the grill marks were just for show. I ended up throwing away the bacon and hash brown, thinking I would save the other half of the egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. However, when I took my second bite the next day, I found a piece of eggshell, which completely ruined my appetite. What a waste of $10! I've always chosen to go to Fornax Bread instead of Jimmies Cafe, and I’ll continue to do so. No thanks!
Ordered a bacon egg and cheese with hash browns. They were out of hash browns and offered me home fries instead (which I?m honestly okay with). However, they barely have me any potatoes. And the bread was barely toasted so it was basically warm softbread. The people were really nice and I?d like to try them again someday in hopes that they may be better

The staff at Jimmies Cafe is welcoming, and they offer an impressive variety of ice cream flavors. I usually go for the coffee flavor paired with their amazing empanadas! Being a small, family-run establishment, it's a place that my kids look forward to visiting for some delicious ice cream.
The staff and owner are exceptionally friendly! I really appreciate that this is a small business owned by minority women. The lobster roll and empanadas are delicious, and the ice cream is locally sourced from Rosi, which is fantastic.
Jimmie's Cafe is the cutest little spot with amazing food! This is the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and the two slider combo. Great prices. Fresh food. Kindest service. I highly recommend to anyone in the Roslindale area!
Stopped for breakfast. Was way better and bigger than I had expected. Also serves lobster rolls, ice cream, and other fare. Very friendly staff. Good prices.

I recently visited Jimmies Cafe, and it smelled amazing! The prices on the menu are quite reasonable. It's a small place, but the food is excellent.
I?ve only had the ice cream, which has been great. One day I?m gonna have to get food too.
