This restaurant is a great spot if you're in the mood for hot dogs and sausage burgers. Their specialty is the hot dog on Fat Tuesday, where you can get a double for the price of a single. It can get crowded, but the 15-20 minute wait is definitely worth it. They serve delicious hot dogs topped with potatoes, peppers, and onions on a half-moon shaped bun, with ketchup and mustard. On Thursdays, you can get a single hot dog and get a second one for the price of your birthday, which means I usually pay around 75 cents or a dollar! What a fantastic deal!
Jimmy Buffs has maintained its status as a leader in the hot dog industry for decades. It's difficult to solely rate the hot dog itself, as it is overshadowed by the overall deliciousness of the meal. With that being said, Jimmy Buffs is undoubtedly the best when it comes to Italian hot dogs. I was lucky enough to visit on a Throwback Thursday and was able to get two hot dogs for under $10, which is unheard of in 2024. I'm looking forward to returning for their "Scary Good Eats" appetizer segment.

Always my go to for a treat. The Italian sausage is huge when doubled and the potatoes are perfectly done. I introduced this to my daughter in law and now its tradition that we get Jimmys when shes in town.

The sausage was good except for the fact that I didnt get the mustard on the side like I requested!! I also didnt get the provolone cheese on the American cheese burger.!!
