My buddy and I had reservations for Peter Luger’s but after playing golf all day in Oceanside we didn’t want to drive all the way to Brooklyn for dinner. I suggested Jimmy Hays- I always used to pass by but never stopped in. As soon as we walked in we were greeted so nicely by the sommelier Michael (pinky) and we were promptly seated. Excellent steakhouse! The food was perfect, Valentine’s Day decorations were great! The staff is very nice and helpful. My wife and I were taken care of by Andres, he made us feel like family from beginning to end. He has excellent customer service skills, we will definitely be back because of the food and amazing service.
A Real Steak House as everyone like ! Service was perfect ! Food was just cooked as requested (Medallions of Filet Mignon Au Poivre and ribeye of the day). Side dishes: so good, we had to finish (Brussel Sprouts and Garlic Mashed Potatoes). Good selection of wine as well. Let's go again !
Fantastic food and service! The holiday atmosphere is lovely, creating a special dining experience. It is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. I took my 17-year-old daughter, and she was genuinely impressed by how excellent everything was.

I had another perfectly acceptable meal tonight. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was good once we figured out which of the two servers who introduced themselves was taking care of us.
We drove 2 hours just to try this place out. Absolutely amazing is an understatement!! From the service to the food.. 10/10 recommend!!
