Upon entering the restaurant, I was impressed by how well-maintained and clean it was. The decor was stylish and modern, with a touch of industrial charm from the brick and iron accents. The bathroom was sleek and tidy as well. Returning to the dimly lit dining area, I perused the menu after scanning the QR code. Jinya offered a wide variety of fusion appetizers and meals, such as chashu rice bowls. I decided on a classic tonkotsu ramen with no toppings and a side of takoyaki. The food took a bit longer to arrive compared to other ramen spots, but the presentation was spot on. The ajitama and chashu slices were delicious, with a perfect texture and umami flavor. However, I found myself cravi...

This ramen restaurant is one of the best in the area. I have visited both this location and the one in Virginia, and they both lived up to expectations. The ramen is very flavorful and the portions are generous. The quality of the food is also excellent. I prefer to keep my bowl simple with the ingredients it comes with. The only downside was that the spicy bowl we ordered wasn't very spicy, but it was still enjoyable. The customer service was good. Unfortunately, parking is difficult in DC.
The Karaage Chicken Ramen at JINYA was absolutely delicious. Despite being a bit hesitant due to the higher price, I was completely satisfied once I took a bite. The portion was generous and one bowl left me feeling full. As a side note, I asked for butter to be added to the broth for extra richness and I topped it off with some of the S&B crunchy garlic chili oil I had at home. I highly recommend trying this dish!
In my opinion, this is one of the top ramen spots in Washington DC. I enjoy dining here as the service is consistently excellent and I have never had any issues with the food. The restaurant is on the smaller side and can feel a bit crowded when busy, but it is definitely worth it. Their drink options are also quite tasty! Book a table now
Jinya is excessively pricey and the additional costs for extras are outrageous. They do not include basic ramen toppings like an egg and expect customers to pay over $2 for add-ons. Furthermore, the portion sizes are not generous.
The ramen is always great! Do not order the cauliflower. It was tasty but just be prepared to have about 10 small pieces of cauliflower for almost $9. The price is ridiculous for such a tiny portion of cauliflower isnt worth it.
My go to Ramen spot. Im pretty picky with ramen but they always are sooo good- i get the Spicy Chicken Ramen every time. I love it so much I get it at least once a week. Best thin noodles in town, spicy is good not too hot.
The menu is pretty large. I had a ramen and Mochi ice. Both very good. Plus a nice local craft beer perfect. Great food together with friendly service what else do you need. Book a table now
Food is absolutely AMAZING! It was so good!!! We ordered the California Poke Bowl, Shrimp Wonton Ramen, and the Pork Chashu Rice Bowl! They were all delicious
Not the best but definitely above average quality of ramen dishes. Taste is rather authentic and the price is reasonable. A nice place for drinks too.
