Jizake Sushi - Table reservation

I decided to visit this restaurant based on its high ratings, but I was severely let down. The nigiri and sashimi were clearly not fresh, and the japchae lacked flavor and was overly oily. The cooked salmon was dry and bland. The only item that was somewhat enjoyable was the baked mussel, but even that was just okay. The walls were peeling, and there were used napkins left between the seat and wall by previous customers, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness. The service was the only bright spot. Overall, you would have a better dining experience at any of the other nearby sushi restaurants.

The sushi at this restaurant is top-notch, but the cleanliness of the place always leaves something to be desired, making me lean towards getting takeout instead. The staff is a mix of very helpful and difficult to deal with. It shouldn't be too hard to keep such a small place clean and tidy, but unfortunately, that isn't the case here. However, if you can overlook these shortcomings, the food and sushi are excellent.

Wow, this restaurant in Orange County serves some of the best sushi! We started with the Gurkensalat, which was fresh, crispy, and had just the right amount of bite. The rolls we ordered were also excellent, extremely fresh and expertly prepared.

I have always had a great experience at this restaurant with consistently high-quality food. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing, especially for Newport. The sushi burrito is a definite must-try item on the menu.

This restaurant is a fantastic place with a welcoming atmosphere and tasty sushi! The staff are also very relaxed and friendly.
