Step inside and you may feel like you've been transported back to 1980, with the rich aroma of aged oil lingering in the air and a nostalgic touch on the tables. The food remains just as delicious as it was back then, and the place is always bustling with customers! If you're heading down Route 37 to the beach or simply passing by, make sure to grab a hot dog at JoJo's.
The food was excellent. The fried potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The hot dogs were cooked to perfection, making for a very enjoyable sandwich. The house drinks were well-prepared—neither too watery, too carbonated, nor too sweet. The staff was friendly. However, the atmosphere felt a bit casual, and the prices were on the higher side for a downtown location.
Great place, seating is small, but the food is really good. Price could be a little lower than $3.00 for a hot dog seems like much to me, that is not inclusive toppings. I would definitely go back to try the Italian hot dog next.
Great experience! .. Loved the Italian hot dog! .. Met Joe the owner a nice man .. Mario was really nice waiting like on us .. A 90+ had his Birthday today who helps out .. Great tasting B 'day cake .. We will be back!
