We went to Joe Pizza for lunch today. We started with the Italian meatballs. The meatballs were definitely made in the house. The sauce was very fresh. It is served with a single piece of garlic bread and with Ricotta, which is a really nice touch. I also ordered a coconut milkshake that was absolutely delicious. As usual, we ordered a pizza. The pizza came out very quickly and immediately we were impressed by the airy crust. They use the smaller pepperonis a Joe Pizza, which is a nice change of pace. Joe Pizza was my favorite restaurant while I lived with my husband in Simsbury. We recently visited Joe Pizza again, this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I'm never disappointed when I stop with Joe Pizza for a quick lunch or a romantic dinner. Your food is authentic and fantastic, the perfect kind of comfort food. The portion sizes here are quite large, so make sure you come hungry! Whatever remains you have for a delicious lunch the next day. I don't live in Connecticut anymore, but I'll continue to stop with Joe Pizza when I end up in town. It's definitely worth the trip for me.
New to the area. Did an online search for local pizza and stumbled across this establishment. Proceeded to read some of the reviews and was automatically turned off by the ?owners? responses to some of the negative reviews. I won?t be going here and supporting this business just based on that. I believe good customer service and the actions of employees for said business are important to the consumer.
