Yes, we are rating very good because the risottos and pizza were fantastic! That being said, it really shouldn’t be called thin crust pizza it’s closer to flatbread or cracker like crust. But it definitely tasted like pizza and the ingredients were fresh. But not traditional pizza. The 30+ varieties of risotto is what will bring us back. So many to chose from, bacon, shrimp and mushrooms were all good. But the waitstaff really needs improvement. No uniforms (which is okay but it made it hard to decipher which hipster was our waiter). He didn’t give a name or hi and just appeared and waited for us to say something first. Then while I ordered an appetizer and drink and then hubby said not sure...

I've dined here several times because people really seem to love the place or because a friend's band was playing here. I just don't get it. On this visit, I knew enough to get the risotto, but friends insisted that I try some of their pizzas to try to change my mind. Nope, I just don't like it. The pizza tastes a little burned to me, and I don't think that the sauce has very much flavor. On the other hand, the drinks are good, the service is nice, and I want to see Station North continue to thrive so go if someone invites you, but if you're deciding where to go, there are better spots for pizza.
Visited with my son after seeing it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and the initial disappointment of them no longer offering deep fried ravioli was more than made up for as it meant we had to order the Maple BBQ wings BEST WINGS I HAVE HAD! Pizzas are excellent yes they are square, get over it. Over two nights we tried the Chicken Spicy Avocado (the best), BBQ Chicken and Hawaiian (both very good). Friendly service and quick food I would advise staggering your order if you want to make a longer meal of it. Two apps and a 12 pizza for $40 I would have paid more. Well worth a visit.
Been here many times but last time was just weird. Five of us waited 50 minutes; we were late for a movie next door at the fabulous Parkway Theatre and had to cancel our main order after two bottles of wine and a delicious appetizer. They comped us everything. We returned after the show and the same waiter offered 1/3 off on risotto night yes, this pizza joint has a huge risotto menu. Risotto night is 1/2 price, but we thought her offer was fair. They are gracious and the food is great, that's the point. p.s. given a discount, tip on the full amount. Never tip on tax. I found out about this restaurant on one of the cooking/travel shows. The pizza and eclectic appetizers were all wonderful. The only downside was the service. We ordered appetizers and main dishes the appetizers first while we were still deciding on the main courses. The pizza (main course) came out first, followed by the appetizers. We had to ask about the third main dish that they seemed to have forgotten. There were multiple servers bringing food, but I have to blame our main server for not coordinating the service.
We had a simple pizza lunch the pizza was very good. The thin crust was delicious the ingredients were fresh tasty. Only complaint at all was it was lukewarm like it had been sitting. Servers were friendly personable and offered refills on drinks. We liked the simple atmosphere the bar looked like a nice place to come for a drink! We will return. It’s very convenient to local Theatres.
We went after seeing a rerun of DDD. It was worth the trip. Pizza is great , salads are large and the staff is fun. The area is a little sketchy so be aware we were panhandled upon leaving . Reservations are a good idea but not necessary.
Joe Square is a very good neighborhood bar with very good pizza. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Parking is mainly on the street and somewhat of a problem. Book a table now
Perfect balance of humanity to create a very comfortable space wth awesome food, great bar drinks, unpretentious wait staff, and ambiance. Checks all my boxes.
