So, I went to Joe's Crab Shack for my birthday dinner and was disappointed with not only the service but also the food was less than desirable to look at. The presentation felt rushed and just a sloppy mess. I took the whole meal home and made it better as the attached photos will demonstrate.We love Joe's Crab Shack, but today, they let us down. My wife always asks for extra salt on the rim of her margaritas. The bar tender said that my wife ordered no salt and gave my wife attitude when we asked her to salt the rim. The food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the service was rather lacking. My waitress was quite scatterbrained; I had to get up and grab my own silverware just to eat my meal. I also had to track down someone to get napkins. When it was time to pay, I couldn't find my waitress and had to search for her. When I finally did, she informed me that she had accidentally overcharged me and would correct it. In the end, the manager had to complete my checkout. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
The food was very bland. Shrimp wasn 't cleaned. Most of the mussels in Steampot was empty. Dungeness crab tasted like it was previously frozen. Alcoholic drink was weak. Spent a decent on a meal that was very mediocre. It was my 1st visit. There was no Wow factor to suggest another visit. Not sure what the issues are, but Joe 's Crab Shack needs to step up their game. I was very disappointed.

the waitress was very nice and friendly. food was excellent and super delicious! would recommend! we ordered the joe's crab for 2 (crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes seasoned with old bay and garlic). we also got one of the special drinks that light up, very cute touch and yummy drink!
The crab boil was tasty! I would have liked it a bit more spicy, but it was flavorful. Left with a souvenir cup thanks to our amazing server! The atmosphere was friendly and fun. If I'm ever back in or near Clearwater again, I'd go again.
Took my friend for his birthday, and we had a great time!! We tried every crab leg they had!! Snow, King Dungeness you name it they cooked it. Lot of fun and great food!!
